Buttermilk Biscuits

Biscuits seem like an easy bake item. But to make good biscuits that are flaky and are not heavy and dense is a bit tricky. It's imperative that you don't touch the dough too much and that you use SUPER cold butter and buttermilk. I freeze my biscuits for at least 10 minutes after I have cut the squares just to make sure the butter is chilled again before placing them in a hot, hot 425°F oven. Fresh out of the oven slathered with honey and butter is Heaven!

I really enjoyed making these biscuits with my kitchen, they came out very good. They were very tasty inside with the gravy we had made too.

I really enjoyed the buttermilk biscuits, they were very delicious and flakey. I didn't think it would be so easy to make and the recipe didn't require any eggs. My favorite part of the day was getting flour every where and also having fun with my group.

They came out so perfect. They tasted amazing. Lastly they were soft on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside.
