Deviled Eggs

I've always wondered why deviled eggs are called "deviled". With a little Googling I found out why. Deviled was a culinary term that originated in the 18th or early 19th century and it meant to cook something with "hot spices". Traditionally deviled eggs were made with cayenne pepper and hot mustard. Cayenne seems a bit much, but mustard with eggs seems like a compliment of flavors. I make these deviled eggs with very little mayo (I am never a fan of mayo but know that sometimes it's needed as food "glue"). I add heavy cream to give the filling a creamy consistency. These are a yummy appetizer or can be served with a salad as a lunch.

The deviled eggs were delicious. We added too much heavy cream so they were a little runny but they still turned out good. I will make these again.

I didn't know eggs could taste any better!!! I was really scared that the yolk was still runny but it was perfect. The texture of the egg was "melt in your mouth". 5 stars

The eggs were absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of eggs myself, but once I tried one of these my opinion quickly changed. All the mixtures of flavors in bite-sized form was fabulous, and I hope that one day I'll be able to make it at home for me and my family one day.

Sadly i couldn't attend to the last few steps, but everyone made the deviled eggs look very professional and pretty. I hope I'm able to recreate what the class has made.

These deviled eggs were amazing. I never really liked eggs but after making these deviled eggs I would love to have more. I will make sure to make these eggs again.

I have tried deviled eggs before and didn't like them because they were poorly made. I don't like most eggs but the ones i made were great. I would never turn down a homemade deviled egg ever again.

At first I was a little nervous to see how it would taste but it actually turned out amazing. I would for sure want to make these again on my free time.

These eggs were incredible! I feel like I added too much paprika and some eggs which gave it a spicy taste. I would definitely make these again.

I was a little scared to try the deviled eggs because I have never tried them before. They ended up pretty good but I did put way too much mustard. I will definitely try to make them at home

I personally think that the deviled eggs were alright. Not the best but still pretty good. I would honestly prefer my grandmother's recipe.

I have never tried deviled eggs before, and I was scared to try them, but they were better than I expected. I thought the eggs were going to be runny, but they turned out amazing! I will definitely make these again!

I really enjoyed the eggs that we made. My group and I added a little bit too much paprika powder but the eggs ended being good. Although I wasn't a huge fan of the after taste I really enjoyed deviled eggs.

I do not really like eggs but I decided to try it and I still didn't enjoy it. I believe I did not enjoy this dish because we added too much salt to ours so it came out very salty. I am also very sensitive to texture so the egg yolk was not the greatest texture.

The deviled eggs where good.But we had to much mustard and are eggs broke. But it is ok because it are first time.

I did not enjoy this dish as much as I would have liked to. I feel like it was our kitchens fault, we put to much salt in the eggs.

The eggs were delicious, we put a little to much salt but they were still fine. They were also decorated very nicely as well.

It was kinda difficult to "ice" the filling into the egg. The taste on the other hand was really good and better than I though it was gonna turn out.
