Lemon Bars

I have to be honest. I love lemon. And I love lemon curd. But after this week I think I am a little tired of lemons. My catering class and I made about 12 different variations of lemons bars. This is a seemingly simple dessert. Just five ingredients. But, really this was a struggle for us to come up with one that we liked. Not that this one is perfect (a recipe in which I couldn't find), but these were very good. Tart and sweet with a shortbread-like crust. It's important to let these fully cool before cutting into. You can chill them in the fridge. I enjoyed eating them cold.

I did not care for the lemon bars.Making them was very fun and exciting.

They were amazing. I only had one because someone stole mine but it was still amazing. My favorite part about this was the filling. I messed up my cutting so they came out looking like triangles. I would definitely make these again.

The lemon bars were very tart and flavorful. I loved that it wasn't too sweet, but you could taste the hints of lemon. It was kinda simple, and I got bored of it quickly but it was an overall good dish.

These lemon bars weren't the greatest. The bread part was good but since I'm very picky in texture I didn't like the lemon part. I wouldn't make these at home.

I did not really like the lemon bars. The only part that I liked was the crust on the top.I did not like the lemon bars because they were too lemony.

I liked the lemon bars. They were a little crummy but they were nice and sweet. I was expecting them to be all hard and crusty, but they were soft and delicious.

I loved the lemon bars, but sadly someone didn't do the measurements right. So we had to borrow another kitchens lemon bars. I gave some to my friends and they loved it. Hope to make it at home.

The Lemon bars was ok. I did like it but it was a little sweet. I'm glad that we made this dish. I like to make new foods in the kitchen.

The lemon bars were a great treat and dessert. The lemon bars had a great lemon taste that you could taste right away.The lemon bars have to be one of my favorite desserts.

2nd time!!! It was very fun making it me and Jalen had fun doing this. We made like everything it was fun because we dumped everything in cause we made 3 baches. Thank you bye bye see you tomorrow

The lemon bars went very good with the sorbet. The bars added sweetness to the sour sorbet. They also looked very pretty.

I was on the field trip when we had these. They looked delicious, from what the pictures showed. Might make these at home to try.

I really liked the lemon bars. Our kitchens turned out great and I have a few to my friends and they loved it. Hope to make it again.

The lemon bars were delicious. They had a nice lemon topping. The base was nice and buttery.

Right when I sank my teeth into a lemon bar, I immediately noticed the strong taste of lemon, which was welcome paired with the dough. I remember that when we made them they were actually pretty big, which is better in my perspective. Lemon bars have to be one of my favorite desserts I've made in this class and at home.

I personally did not like the lemon bars. The crust was good, but the filling was not the best. It wasn’t sweet enough in my opinion and lemon flavored desserts are not my favorite.
